Performance and Leadership Insights is the new performance management program in Pfizer that is used by managers to assess colleagues’ performance. Performance and Leadership Insights reimagines how we define and assess Performance and Leadership: It’s not only What we do but also How we do it ! Leadership at Pfizer is defined by how we exhibit our Values: Courage, Excellence, Equity, and Joy. Feedback is a key element for the Leadership assessment. Performance is measured by the impact of our goals. On top of these we introduced the Breakthrough Goal! To achieve our purpose: Breakthroughs that change patients’ lives, we must set higher standards to do things we have never done before, challenge what we think is possible and test current approaches that may not be working. Breakthrough goals are bold and ambitious. They encourage innovation and provide room for failure.
