Mellon Technologies, in partnership with CollegeLink, designed and implemented the Fintech Development Bootcamp. This initiative aims to attract talent due to the competitive tech job market and bridge the fintech skills gap. The paid 1 ½ month training program (180-hours) targeted recent graduates with minimal programming experience. Participants could choose between 2 learning paths, developing experience in C# & .NET or Java & Android, depending on their preferred direction. The program combined a blend of theoretical knowledge with hands-on training using Mellon Technologies’ systems and technologies, while team building activities played an important role in promoting cooperation and communication, by integrating the participants into the company’s culture. The success of the bootcamp is established by the recruitment of 70% of participants by Mellon Technologies, underscoring its strategy to generate and develop a strong tech workforce.
